i spent last year at pilot knob long term area in winterhaven ca. i got hassled every other day by the host. i was '' too messy' , i was selling solar panels. on and on.
i went back yesterday to see if the spot i had occupied was open. it was not. then talked to the host. the message i got, was that i was not welcomed back.
so, i went to the blm office . there i got a copy of
'supplemental rules' . para 4. .... may revoke, without reimbursement , your ltva permit if you violate any blm rule or regulation
para 33. .. campsite maintenance...you must keep the ltv and specifically your campsite in A NEAT, ORDERLY AND SANITARY CONDITION.
wow, does that give them free rein or what.
the host keep saying i was too messy....... 'the man' gets to decide that i am not 'neat and orderly'??????
what with my solar panels , light ropes, solar lights, attempts at a garden, clothes line, solar oven, solar shower, jugs painted black, for water. etc. yes , i admit to being spread out. but to me, it is in perfect order.
